Full-Day Enjoy Battambang Tuk-Tuk Tour

01: Local handicraft factory, We’ll go to the villages and see how they make local products like sticky rice in bamboo, as well as the fish market.

02: We can also learn more about the Khmer Rouge by visiting the Well of Shadows (in Wat Samrong Knong), a memorial to those who died during the war.

The last sight on the north side is rice papers, followed by a trip back to the city for lunch, or we can eat in the village if time permits.

03: Following lunch, we go to Wat Ko Village to see the historical building, then to the Muslim village and suspension bridge to see the fish farm that they are feeding, and finally to Osrolao Village to see and ride the original bamboo train.

04: It will take us about an hour to finish if you take the bamboo train.

We can explore the village for twenty minutes, admiring the views of the surrounding rice fields, and see what they are selling. They drop us off at another old train station before boarding the bamboo train again.

05: In the afternoon, we continue in our Tuk-Tuk towards Phnom Sampau mountain, which is home to shrines and killing caves used during the Khmer Rouge period. Enjoy the vast and beautiful scenery and end our journey before sunset by visiting the “Bat Army”—thousands of bats flying out of their caves in the mountainside at dusk.

While the sun is setting in the secret bat cave, you can see them fly out from behind you and past you as you enjoy the sunset. We will finish this trip in the evening and return to your hotel.
